Lady Judicial Magistrate found dead at Home, Husband, kin booked for Murder


She got married to a Delhi Lawyer this Year only


The body of a woman Judicial Magistrate posted in Kanpur Dehat was reportedly found hanging at her official residence in Cantonment area Sunday.

Even though her husband has claimed that she had committed suicide, her parents, however, alleged foul play.

They got married in April this year only.

Police officials began investigation by questioning the husband and family members.

The couple had a fight over some issue on Saturday.  Pratibha’s parents claimed that she was pregnant as well.

Judge Pratibha Gautam, belongs to Orai in Jalaun district.

She was found hanging from the ceiling fan by her husband when he arrived there in the morning.

Her husband, Manu Abhishek, is a practising lawyer at Delhi high court.

It is said that before hanging herself she had also cut both her wrists.

Late at night, the husband was booked on charges of murder.
