Judgment / Order

09/11/2021

1. Petitioner has preferred this misc petition seeking quashing

of FIR No.188/2016 registered at Police Station Ramganj, Jaipur.

2. It is contended by counsel for the petitioner that police

submitted charge-sheet against Karan Deep. The trial Court has

acquitted Karan Deep, however, police has kept the matter

pending under Section 173 (8) Cr.P.C. It is also contended that

parties have amicably settled their dispute.

3. Complainant alongwith his counsel is present in court and

has not disputed the fact of parties having entered into

compromise. He does not want to proceed further in the FIR

lodged by him and he has no objection to the quashing of FIR qua

the petitioner.

(2 of 2) [CRLMP-6950/2021]

4. I have considered the contentions.

5. In view of the fact that co-accused stands acquitted and

parties have amicably settled the dispute and complainant does

not wish to proceed further with the FIR qua the petitioner, hence,

I deem it proper to allow the misc. petition.

6. Hence, the misc. petition is allowed. Proceedings pending in

FIR No.188/2016 registered at Police Station Ramganj, Jaipur is

quashed qua the petitioner.

7. Stay application stands disposed.

8. A copy of this order be sent to the concerned S.H.O.
