This bail application under Sec.439 CrPC has been filed by

the petitioner in connection with FIR No.218/2020 registered at

Police Station Ramsinghpur, District Sri Ganganagar for offence

under Sections 8/22, 8/29 of the NDPS Act.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned

Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the charge

sheet has already been filed, the petitioner has been made

accused on the basis of statement recorded of co-accused under

Sec.29 of the Act.

Learned Public Prosecutor opposed the bail application.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid submissions and that

the charge sheet has already been filed, without commenting on

merits of the case, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Therefore, this bail application is allowed and it is ordered

that the accused petitioner - Richhpal Singh s/o Balveer Singh

be released on bail under Section 439 CrPC in connection with

aforesaid FIR provided the petitioner furnishes a personal bond of

Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like amount, to the satisfaction

of the concerned Magistrate with the stipulation that he shall

comply with all the conditions laid down under Sec.473 (3) CrPC.
