CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.102 OF 2008
JUDGMENT:
Heard Smt Bharat Lakshmi, learned counsel for the
petitioner through virtual mode. She submits that this revision
was filed by the defacto-complainant challenging the appellate
judgment dated 20.11.2007, passed by the VI Additional District
Judge, (Fast Track Court), Tirupati in Crl. A.No.7 of 2006
(S. Janardhan Naidu and another vs. State) whereby the appeal
filed by the appellants therein the respondents 2 and 3 herein was
allowed setting aside their conviction and sentence passed by the
Court of the Principal Assistant Sessions Judge, Tirupati on
16.01.2006 in S.C.No.176 of 2004. The said appellants were
acquitted and fine imposed upon them, if paid, was ordered to be
refunded.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the defacto-
complainant has died about two years back and his legal
representatives are not interested in prosecuting the revision any
further which may be dismissed.
In view of the above statement made by the learned counsel
for the petitioner, the revision is dismissed.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending,
shall also stand closed.
