CRIMINAL PETITION No.17284 of 2016
ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., by
the petitioner/Accused No.2, seeking to quash the proceedings in
C.C.No.79 of 2013 on the file of the Court of the IV Additional
Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tirupati, registered for the
offences punishable under Sections 420, 419, 468, 471, 474 read
with 120(B) IPC, against her.
2. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
3. At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor,
on instructions, would submit that C.C.No.79 of 2013 was
disposed of by the trial Court on 04.09.2017, the case against
accused No.2 was quashed and directed the SHO, Chandragiri P.S
to return the unexecuted NBW against accused No.2. He filed a
copy of the judgment in C.C.No.79 of 2013 passed on 04.09.2017,
to that effect.
4. In that view of the matter, nothing survives in keeping the
petition pending for adjudication. Therefore, recording the
submission of the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the
Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending
applications, if any, shall stand closed.
