THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE D. RAMESH
WRIT PETITION No.24405 of 2022
ORDER:-
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned
Government Pleader for Revenue.
The grievance of the petitioner is that an application
made by the petitioner for mutation has been summarily
rejected and reasons have not been furnished. He also
relies upon the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of
India reported in AIR 1990 Supreme Court 1984, wherein
need for reasons in such order, has been highlighted.
In all fairness, learned Government Pleader concedes
that the petitioner is entitled for such relief and no
application which is in the prescribed format has been
rejected.
Without going into the merits, there shall be a
direction to the 4th respondent to furnish detailed reasons
to the petitioner, why her application bearing
No.RMU012208171856, dated 11.01.2022, filed with
Transaction ID No.TARMU012208171856 has been
rejected. This entire exercise should be completed within
four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed
of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Consequently miscellaneous applications pending, if
any in the Writ Petition, shall also stand closed.
