Q 1. Tell us something about your early childhood and schooling?

Ans:- As I belong to country side, till my High School and Intermediate There were very few schools and the one in which I used to go was 20 Kms away from my home. I used to daily cover the distance on my cycle. After completing my education in Faizabad I came to Lucknow for higher studies.

Q 2. Are you a first-generation lawyer?

Ans:- Yes, I am first-Generation lawyer and As I belong to agricultural family so in my family no one was even graduate at that point of time.

Q 3. When did you decide pursue law as profession and why?

Ans:-After completing my M.A. I stated searching for government jobs. But at some point of time I realized that getting such government job which meets my expectation is as chance of 50-50. So I decided to pursue LLB as a course from Lucknow University. And after that I completed my completed my LLM from same institution.

Q 4. How was your experience in Law School?

Ans:- It was both bitter and sweet experience. Even in my first year I was not much serious about my law studies as it was my secondary option to be on safe side. As time passed while studying it I started developing more and more interest in the subjects and here I am now as an advocate.

Q 5. How do you think that the Law School education has changed since then?

Ans:-Good Question, Well in my opinion the level of education has changed very rapidly and a lot. As in our time the LLB students were not that much serious about the course and mostly LLB was considered as a secondary option. But now there are several NLU and Law Schools which provide much more intense education and Good quality of teaching to the students and provide Internship and moot courts like option for better development.

Q 6. Would you like to share any experience of your first day/case in Court?

Ans:-It was quite a mixed experience during my first day as I was new to the field of law practice and trying to understand the ways of working. About my first case, It was a civil matter of one of my relatives so the burden on my shoulders was quite a lot.Q 7. Please share two or three memorable cases you dealt in your professional journey?

Ans:- In High court no one can do argument in your place so during my first case I remember that with the help of my senior under whom I was learning my advocacy, with his help I use to present my case in front of judge but on my final day he was in different court and I appeared alone that day in front of Hon’ble Judge. So I was very nervous. But that day somehow I managed and lost my fear of arguing before Judge, also argued strongly and awon that case too. Second time it was in year 2001 when I really realize how noble law profession is. It was in one of case in which I was representing some of government school teacher who haven’t been paid from last 5 years. After I secured their rights and help them with justice I was so much satisfied.

Q 8. Please share three strengths of the Indian Legal System which make it strongest pillar of democracy?

Ans:-The legal system is very vast and for welfare of the society because it is only legal system which provide right to weaker sections of the society. Even during the time of independence countless Lawyers have played their valuable role towards society. Well you can’t even imagine a democratic nation without an active role play of judiciary because judiciary is the one with provides us remedy against all wrongs.

Q 9. What according to you are the areas where legal system in our country needs to improve?

Ans:- Good Question, I would say in my opinion we the lawyers, advocate and judge are the active members of this legal system and no one except us and make sure to bring improvement to this legal system. In my opinion legal system should be free from political influence which is played in regular basis and this is acting as a barrier in the path of justice.

As being a law student you may be also aware about that there is quite a burden of cases on the shoulders of courts but the scarcity of judges in judiciary is also a reason for that too. Which state and central government should resolve as soon as possible.

Q 10. What is your wisdom and success mantra for young legal professionals?

Ans:-My message to young legal professionals would be that this profession is very hard and very enjoyable at same time. Hard in the sense that you need to work 24x7 in this profession every time you need to think about your client, you need keep reading on regular bases and they must always be aware of latest law and judicial magazine because this profession does not allow you to slow down for even a second. But the faster you will run the more you will enjoy. I just want says that if you feel confident the just take a flight and work hard to see how high you can fly. Struggle dedication and Hard working mind this is all you need.
