School says we wish to motivating people to have less children.

In a peculiar move, a eminent Delhi school has barred parents having more than 2 kids from seeking admission for their children, saying that it wants to motivate people to have less children.

Salwan School in Rajendra Nagar ,West Delhi has mentioned this condition in the registration forms issued by its 2 branches that are GD Salwan and Salwan Montessori .

"Parents having more than 2 children, inc. whose admission is sought, needn't apply," the form reads.

The clause is also applicable for teaching positions at the schools as well, candidates with more than 2 children can't apply for jobs there.

According to Sushil Salwan, Chairperson of the Salwan Group, "This is our way of contributing to this issue by motivating people to have less children."

Last year Delhi govt. had issued guidelines abolishing arbitrary criterias such as parent's education, age, their profession, interview and oral test. However, the condition imposed by Salwan school isn't mentioned in the list.
