Shri IM Nanavati Memorial National Moot Court @GLS Law College, Ahmedabad [Jan 18-20]: Register by Dec 25, Cash Prizes of Rs. 5.5 Lakhs

GLS Law College organizes and hosts Shri I. M. Nanavati Memorial National Moot Court Competition every year to commemorate late Shri I. M. Nanavati who made his mark as an advocate in the High Court of Gujarat and Supreme Court of India, and as an educationalist.With a Vision an Aim to continue the tradition set forth by the institution, the GLS Law family is proud to announce the Shri I.M. Nanavati Memorial National Moot court Competition open for students who are–Pursuing an integrated 5year LL.B. programme in India; Pursuing a 3 year LL.B. programme in India.

The Dates of the Competition are Jan 18-20, 2019.

Registration

The Interested Teams may register Provisionally by sending an email to glsmootcourt@gmail.com on or before December 5, 2018.

The email must be sent from the email address of the Moot Court Society, Moot Court Committee, or any other officially authorized email address of the College/University.

Final Registration will have to be completed in compliance with the rules and regulation of the competition on or before December 25, 2018.

A slot for a team shall only be reserved when the final registration is completed, i.e., the DD and registration form has been sent in a soft copy(by mail) as well as in hard copy (by courier, post).

Only 32 teams shall be allowed to register on first come first serve basis. Registration of a team shall be completed only after the final registration is done. The moot problem shall be released on November 15, 2018.

Trophies & Prizes

Trophies and cash prizes shall be awarded in the following manner:

Winning Team: ₹ 225,000 Runners’ up team: ₹ 150,000 Best Advocate (Appellant): ₹ 50,000 Best Advocate (Respondent): ₹ 50,000 Best Memorial (Appellant):₹ 25,000 Best Memorial (Respondent): ₹ 25,000 Best Researcher: ₹ 21, 000
