The Debating Society of The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, in collaboration with the Centre for Competition Law and Policy, and the Centre for Sports Law, is delighted to officially invite you to the 5th edition of the NUALS Parliamentary Debate, scheduled for February 22-24, 2019.The NUALS Parliamentary Debate is a three-day inter-varsity event, held every year at The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi. We’ve had 4 previous successful editions, where we’ve had teams come in from all over India and abroad.
Team registrations are now open
The NUALS Parliamentary Debate 2019 would mainly feature motions and topics in relation with Competition Law and Policy and Sports Law, as well as other general topics.
2×2 British Parliamentary Debate: Team cap of 32 teams, with n+1 rule, allotted on first come first serve basis.
Best Team: ₹50,000
Runners Up: ₹30,000
Best Speaker: ₹20,000
Best Adjudicator: ₹20,000
Registration has been extended to February 15
Registration fee of ₹2000 per person, which includes accommodation, transportation, and food, and ₹1500 per person without accommodation.
Applicable GST shall be charged at the venue of accommodation.

Sarangan Rajeshkumar, a NLSIU Alumnus, is CA#1 for our tournament. He has been the core adjudicator for the MV Kamath Memorial National Debate Tournament and has been a Finalist at several British Parliamentary debates such as NALSAR IV (2016) and ILS PD (2017).
The remaining core adjudicators will be announced shortly.
