Bihar Court orders FIR against Mayawati under Criminal conspiracy and POCSO Act

A District Court at Vaishali  Bihar today passed an order for registration of an FIR against BSP Supremo Mayawati and her party leaders on a complaint alleging inflammatory speeches and spreading animosity in the society.

Sh. Jairam Prasad, Chief Judicial Magistrate took cognizance of a complaint filed by Ajit Singh, Hajipur resident.

Court directed that FIR be registered against the four Political Leaders at Town police station.

The petitioner claimed that he was hurt by the inflammatory speeches made by Ms. Mayawati and her party workers and this affected the unity and integrity of the country.

 It was at on July 21 at a public meeting in Lucknow that Ms. Mayawati called on and instigated her party workers to attack and target expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh’s Family ie. mother, wife and daughter.

Her followers are protesting in the wake of Mr. Singh’s unsavory remarks against the BSP chief by comparing her with Prostitutes.

FIR is under Sections of the IPC including Section 153(a) (promoting enmity between groups), Section 295(a) (deliberate acts intended to outrage religious feelings), Section 120(b) (criminal conspiracy), and POCSO Act.
