                                                 HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SUDESH BANSAL
                                                                Order

                                   02/05/2022

After considering the appeal on merits, it has been pointed out that by virtue of Section 34(6) of Gram Nyayalayas Act, 2008, the judgment passed by learned District Judge in first appeal against the judgment of Gram Nyayalaya, is final and no appeal or revision shall lie from the decision of the District Court.

The relevant provision of Section 34(6) is reproduced as under:-

"(6) The decision of the District Court under sub- section (4) shall be final and no appeal or revision shall lie from the decision of the District Court: Provided that nothing in this sub-section shall preclude any person from availing of the judicial remedies available under articles 32 and 226 of the Constitution"

In view of above, otherwise also this second appeal is not maintainable and the same is accordingly dismissed.
