Mr. Chandragupt Chopra, PP HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR Order 07/07/2022 This petition is for quashing of FIR No. 137/2022 registered at Police Station, Bhankrota, District Jaipur (West) for offences under Section 384 & 120B IPC.

The respondent No. 2 has already appeared and it has been informed that the parties have reached to a compromise. A written (Downloaded on 11/07/2022 at 09:47:38 PM) (2 of 2) [CRLMP-5822/2022] compromise is already on the record. In the circumstances, the respondent No. 2 does not want to prosecute.

The parties have relied on the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in case of Jayrajsinh Digvijaysinh Rana Rana vs. State of Gujarat & Anr. Reported in 2012 Cr.L.R. (SC) 743; wherein the compounding of non-compoundable offence was also allowed in the interest of justice after settlement of dispute between the parties.

Considering the facts aforesaid, FIR to the extent qua the petitioners is hereby quashed, the pending proceedings arising out of the said FIR against the petitioners, is deemed to be quashed and the petition is allowed to the aforesaid extent.
