1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner's case for family pension has been forwarded by the Elementary Education Department, as is evident from the communication dated 18.1.2021 (Annex.4), but the Pension Department is not doing the needful for one pretext or the other.
2. The present writ petition is, thus, disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4 to process petitioner's case for family pension as early as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from today.

3. In case the respondent No.4 finds that certain
document/information is required, he shall issue a notice to the petitioner.
4. In case he is of the view that petitioner is not entitled for family pension, he shall pass a speaking order, under communication to the petitioner, against which petitioner's right to take legal remedies shall stand reserved.
5. Stay application too stands disposed of.
