CRIMINAL PETITON No. 15462 of 2016
ORDER:
This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking quashment of the proceedings initiated against the petitioner/accused in C.C.No.110 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Nandyal, Kurnool District.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that C.C.No.110 of 2011 was dismissed by judgment dated 18.03.2019 and the petitioner/accused was acquitted of the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC and hence, the criminal petition becomes infructuous.
Recording the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
