WRIT PETITION No.21531 OF 2022
ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. The Writ Petition is filed with the following prayer:
"...to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to promote the petitioners with effect from the date on which their juniors were promoted as Principals, Govt. Degree College with all consequential and attendant benefits by refixing the seniority in the light of the judgment in WP No.20706 and 20900 of 2004 dated 18-02-2005 and to pass..."
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are retired Lecturers from the Junior Colleges and they seek retirement benefits, after effecting their promotions as Principals of Government Degree College. Their grievance is that in spite of their representations to consider their cases on par with their juniors, the respondents are not considering their representations and releasing the terminal benefits.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as the petitioner has submitted their representations, the respondent authorities may be directed to dispose of the same. Learned Government Pleader does not have any objection for disposal of the said representations.

In view of the above circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioners 2 dated 03.11.2021, 18.04.2022, 18.04.2022, 24.11.2021, 24.11.2021, 26.04.2022, 24.11.2021, 11.11.2021, 26.11.2021, 12.11.2021, 05.11.2021. 04.11.2021. 14.12.2021. 28.10.2021, 27.12.2021, 31.05.2022, 29.11.2021, 13.12.2021, 05.11.2021, 25.11.2021, 22.11.2021 and 04.11.2021 and pass appropriate orders, strictly in accordance with Rules, if the same are received and pending before him.
6. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
