WRIT PETITION NO.11252 of 2022
ORDER:-
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of
India, seeking to direct the 1st respondent to delete the petitioners' land in
Sy.No.556 and 553 situated in Gorantla Village, Guntur Mandal, Guntur District, from the prohibited list in terms of the recommendations made by the 3rd respondent dated 16.9.2019 and 22.10.2021.
2. Heard both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Today, when the case is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the issue is squarely covered by the judgment of the learned Single Judge of this High Court issued in W.P.No. 25337 of 2020, on 8.3.2021, wherein, the 1st respondent therein was directed to issue appropriate notification deleting the petitioners' land from the prohibited list maintained under Section 22(a) of the Registration Act, 1908, as per the proceedings of 2nd respondent/District Collector dated 16.9.2019, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and on such deletion, the 4th respondent was directed to receive the proposed documents, register them if they are otherwise in accordance with the provisions of the Registration Act and release the same in accordance with law.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submitted that subsequent to the above orders of this Court, the respondents have deleted the subject land pertaining to the petitioners therein by issuing notification in GO.Rt.No.121, dated 17.3.2022.
4. Recording the submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is also disposed of in terms of the orders 2 passed in W.P.No.25337 of 2020, on 8.3.2021. Accordingly, 1st respondent is directed to issue appropriate notification deleting the petitioners' land from the prohibited list maintained under Section 22(a) of the Registration Act, 1908 as per the proceedings of 3rd respondent/District Collector dated 16.9.2019 as expeditiously as possible but not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and on such deletion, the 4th respondent is directed to receive the proposed documents, register them if they are otherwise in accordance with the provisions of the Registration Act and release the same in accordance with law.
5. Registry is directed to enclose a copy of the order passed in W.P.No. 25337 of 2020, on 8.3.2021 to this order.
Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
