A perusal of the record shows that the sole appellant died on 21.01.2018 and no steps were taken so far.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents is present.

3. Since the sole appellant died and no steps were taken so far, the Appeal Suit is dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.

5. Interim orders granted earlier if any, stand vacated.
